The Requirement

GasLog needed a new corporate video to help communicate their brand identity and values to prospective partners and customers. Due to the high stakes nature of the shipping industry, the video needed to foster trust in the professionalism of GasLog’s people and to show the full scale of the organisation, therefore a high level of production value was required.

The Solution

With filming locations spanning three countries, including a carefully choreographed shoot onboard a working LNG vessel, precise logistics were essential to bring this piece to life. Our team interviewed GasLog’s customers, senior management and onboard crew to build a comprehensive study of the types of people that make up the organisation. Our film explored themes of precision and excellence, and we carried this through into the visual language by focusing on symmetry and detail.

Impact and Benefits

The film we created was of great value to GasLog in communicating their value to customers as well as to attracting talent to the business. The video and images captured have become a crucial asset in their online marketing and are also used in live events and client pitches. Rocking Horse have continued to work with GasLog on subsequent video projects.
